Any applicant who has successfully completed the Basic Training Refresher (CAMACE-68) course will satisfy the continued competency requirements for STCW Basic Training in STCW, as amended 2010, Basic Training in Section A-VI/1, 46 CFR 11.302(e) and 46 CFR 12.602(e), AND, all of the tasks from the National Assessment Guidelines found in NVIC 08-14.
Any applicant who successfully completes the Advanced Fire Fighting Refresher (CAMACE-697) course will satisfy the Advanced Fire Fighting training requirements of Section A-VI/3 and Table A-VI/3 of the STCW Code, as amended 2010, and 46 CFR 11.201(h)(1), and 11.303(e).
Any applicant who successfully completes the 40-hr Basic Safety Training course will satisfy:
- Basic Safety Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting training requirements of Section A-VI-1 and Table A-VI/1-2 of the STCW Code and 46 CFE 10.205(I)(2); Basic Fire Fighting requirements of 46 CFR 10.205(g) and 10.401(g)(1) for a license; Fire Fighting training requirements of 46 CFR 13.113(d)(2)(i)(A), 13.113(e)(1)(i)(A)or(B), 13.201(e), 13.301(e), 13.401(d) or 13.501(e) for any tankerman endorsement;
- Basic Safety Elementary First Aid training requirements of Section A-VI/1 and Table A-VI/1-3 of the STCW Code and 46 CFR 10.205(I)(3); if presented WITHIN ONE YEAR of the date of training, the First Aid & CPR training requirements of 46 CFR 10.205(h)(1)(ii) and 10.205(h)(2)(iii) for original issuance of a license;
- Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities training requirements of Section A-VI/1 and Table A-VI/1-4 of the STCW Code and 46 CFR 10.205(I)(4);
- Personal Survival training requirements of Section A-VI/1 and Table A-VI/1 of the STCW Code and 46 CFR 10.205(I)(1).
The STCW Basic Safety Training course reflects a reduced fee for enrolling in the complete 5-day course, which includes: First Aid/CPR, Personal Safety and Social Responsibility, Personal Survival, and Basic Firefighting. However, these courses may also be taken individually.
Any applicant who has successfully completed our 8-hr First Aid and CPR course will satisfy: (1) the Basic Safety – Elementary First Aid training requirements of Section A-VI/l and Table A-VI/l-3 of the STCW Code and 46 CFR 10/205 (1)(3); - AND – (2) if presented WITHIN ONE YEAR of the date of training, the first Aid and CPR training requirements of 46 CFR 10.205(h)(1)(ii) and 10.205(h)(2)(iii) for original issuance of a license.
Any applicant who has successfully completed our 4-hr Personal Safety & Social Responsibility course will satisfy the Personal Safety & Social Responsibility requirements of 46 CFR 10.205(l)(4) and Section A-VI/1 and Table A-VI/1-4 of the STCW Code.
Any applicant who has successfully completed our 12-hour Personal Survival course will satisfy the Personal Survival Techniques training requirements of Section A-VI/1 and Table A-VI/1-1 of the STCW Code and 46 CFR 10.205(l)(1).
Any applicant who has successfully completed our 16-hr Basic Fire Fighting course will satisfy the: (1) the Basic Safety Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting requirements of Section A-VI/1 and Table A-VI/1-2 of the STCW Code and 46 CFR 10.205(I)(2);--AND—(2) the Basic Fire Fighting training requirements of 46 CFR 10.205(g) and 10.401(g)(1) for a license;--AND— (3) the Fire Fighting training requirements of 46 CFR 13.113(d)(2)(i)(A), 13.113(e)(1)(i)(A)or(B), 13.201(e), 13.401(d) or 13.501(e) for any tankerman endorsement.
Any applicant who successfully completes the Basic Training Revalidation course will satisfy the continued competency requirements for Personal Survival Techniques and Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting in STCW as amended 2010, Section A-VI/1, 46 CFR 11.302(d) and 46 CFR 12.602(d), provided that they have at least 1 year of sea service in the last 5 years.
Any applicant who has successfully completed the Advanced Fire Fighting Revalidation (CAMACE-777) course will satisfy the Advanced Fire Fighting training revalidation requirements of STCW Code Section A-VI/3 and 46 CFR 11.201(h)(1), and 11.303(d), provided that the mariner has at least 1 year of sea service within the last 5 years.
